The Playgroup at the Seth M.R. Jaipuria School celebrated Janamashtami with great fervor and gaiety. The children came dressed in traditional attire, some dressed as Radha and few as Krishna. To remember the day, a story on the birth of Lord Krishna especially his ‘butter bash’ was narrated by the teachers. Children enjoyed decorating earthen pots and flutes. They also prepared a ‘Jhaaki’. Krishna – An Invisible Friend was introduced by the teachers The teachers also spoke about His wisdom, to children so that they may be inspired by Him and relate to Him as a lovable friend and role model to look up to, in their everyday life situations and challenges.
Children merrily danced to the tunes of devotional songs. At the end of the day photographs of children were clicked.
Children wished each other ‘Happy Janamashtami’.
