Republic Day Celebrations

Celebrating Republic Day with children is a great way of instilling the feeling of patriotism in them. Playgroup children were thrilled to celebrate the same virtually.

Children made edible tricolour fruit salads, offering their creations to the Almighty. The sense of taste was reinforced while tasting various fruits that were used.

To expand their creativity, they even made India’s Flag using green leaves and marigold flower petals. The importance of keeping our country and our environment clean was also discussed.

All these activities were made possible only because of the collaboration between parents and teachers. A short quiz on national symbols, festivals, vegetables, rivers was organized for both students and parents. Along with being informative, it was great fun for everyone involved.

Towards the end, everyone sang some patriotic songs and the National Anthem.
