On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, our students celebrated the day in school on 18th August dressed up as little Radha and Krishna. Ensuring a wholesome learning experience, all the activities of the day catered to their Physical, Mental and Vital development.
After painting and decorating pots, they went on to walk on zig-zag lines while balancing the pots on their heads.
Building connections with our culture through stories and songs about Lord Krishna, our children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the stages of his life. Lord Krishna’s love for butter and the flute were also inculcated through art and craft activities. The day’s events also helped enhance their vocabulary and improve their concentration while counting stars and mirrors as they decorated the pots and flutes.
As the children shared sweets with each other, they bonded well and were filled with a sense of joy and satisfaction.
